Rope Bondage Demonstration 2016 with Red Phoenix and MrRed

In April, MrRed and I did our very first BDSM seminar and demonstration at RT Round Up in Vegas at the Rio. Luckily, friends of ours taped the session so we could share this with you now.

This is part of the hour-long presentation. We brought all of our favorite tools and toys to show fans of BDSM books what the instruments look like and how they are used. I also shared what they feel like and why I enjoy them so darn much.

An exciting change is coming…

Squee - It’s “fun-sized” Brie! <3

The Brie series will be getting a whole new look in the upcoming months. Rather than three giant novels, Brie will be broken into 9 normal-sized novels with new, beautiful covers. The first one is titled “Teach Me: Brie’s Submission” She will be released in eBook, paperback and audio.

This is being done to attract a whole new group of readers to her story. There’s no need to buy the new Brie (it’s the same sexy story), but rebranding Brie does mean that the original books will be retired. No fear, you will not lose your eBooks if you have purchased them. 

When I went to the book conferences this year and last, I became painfully aware that very few were selling giant novels. Authors had carry-friendly books that readers can easy cart around. That’s what I want for Brie! I want readers to be able to slip her in their purse or backpack and escape with Brie whenever they feel the need.

The Second Editions will remain on all sites, so if Big Books are your thing, Brie will still be available for purchase AND you get the POVs as an added bonus.

As the new “fun-sized” Bries come out, I will be furiously writing the newest books in the series so that they are ready for your reading pleasure. I will no longer write Brie novelettes, but will get these novels out sooner than the Big Brie’s of the past. 

This is a positive change and I couldn’t be more excited for all the new readers who are about to discover the magic of Brie.

Won’t it be fun to welcome a whole new crop of readers to our gang??? ~Red

Red Phoenix: Getting Ready for RT in Vegas

The process of getting ready for #RT16 in Vegas is quite daunting.

Because I have a Promo Table, I must bring enough swag to keep it stocked for 3 days. I have 6 big bags of goodies ready (Thanks to my fans from Denver!), plus the beautiful display. 

MrRed and I have been going over our seminar that we are presenting on Sunday. Full of laughter and (lucky me!) hands-on practice.

I also have all the books, book stands, displays and extra material for the signing on Saturday AND Sunday. Yikes!

Then there's the "What am I wearing for a week of panels and parties?" Pack, pack, pack...  

I'm so very grateful I will be driving this year! Not only do we get to bring BDSM tools we normally would never take on a plane, but I don't have to spend hundreds of dollars to ship all this stuff.

RT is intimidating. With so many authors and so many readers, it's a madhouse, and I am normally a solitary person. Having it in Vegas is going to be that much crazier! 

Still, I can't wait. I get to see old friends, meet new fans, and party like it's 1999.
(Oh wait, that already happened)
