Best BDSM - Submissive in Love Series by Red Phoenix

I am so honored that fans voted Brie's Submissive in Love as their favorite.

I never thought Brie's story would continue after I finished Brie Embraces the Heart of Submission, and then Tono started calling me with his sad song. I had to find out what happened to the beloved Kinbaku Master - and that's how the Submissive in Love series was born.

Thank you to all the fans who have joined me on Brie's journey. Sharing it with you remains my joy!

Brie
(in order)

* Brie Learns the Art of Submission
* Brie Embraces the Heart of Submission
* Brie's Tokyo Tryst: Submissive in Love #1
* Brie's Denver Desires: Submissive in Love #2

* Brie's Montana Dreams: Submissive in Love #4

I will be having a big online party on Facebook tomorrow. If you want to join in the fun, trivia and prizes, please click on the link and hit "join". Once the party starts, it will be set to private.

Why Tsu is Good for Authors: By Red Phoenix

If you are an author, this is a great opportunity!

Why tsu is good for authors…

I saw the invitations to tsu and ignored them. Last thing I wanted was to start on a new social site. Who has the time? However, enough people talked about it so I took a peek, but it wanted me to sign in so I balked.
Then I started listening to popular indie authors who were loving this new site. They said the engagement with fans was incredible - like it used to be on FB in the old days. Fans were seeing their posts on their newsfeeds!

Tsu is different than FB because “Friending” someone means you BOTH can see each other's newsfeeds. “Following” means only YOU will see them on your newsfeed. You don't need to do both.

It is also different because tsu gives all members a portion of any sales they make advertising on the side of your page (same ads as FB has) but tsu pays you for it. THAT was the part that made me leery, because I don’t trust that shit.

Well, these author friends who have been on it for a while don’t make but pennies a week, so that is NOT the reason to join. You join because your fans can see each and every post you make on their newsfeeds. (Fans can also make pennies from the ads on tsu – everyone is equal.)

One interesting aspect is the creation of families. You cannot join tsu unless you are invited. I happily invite you (and any of my lovely fans) to join me:

By joining, you can start reaching your fan base, and experience what’s it’s like to be fully seen by the people who love your work!

Some of My Favorite Things: Red Phoenix

Notice the book cover! Created by Brandi  Rohr-Sandlin
My Fans Are My Joy!

If you are not part of my FaceBook, Twitter, or Website community, you are missing out, my friend. An incredible group of people have gathered together. Each day is filled with laughter, encouragement, and tears of joy.

It has become a favorite addiction of mine. I love the support this community gives each other, and I delight in the things they create and share!

I wanted to share some of my favorite things:

Club Red is having a pumpkin contest - "A Red Phoenix themed pumpkin contest. Its October and I love HALLOWEEN! and carving and/or decorating pumpkins. How naughty or sexy can you make your pumpkin without tipping your neighbors off to your kink? Maybe just carve a Phoenix or a pair of heals maybe put a collar on your pumpkin or a flogger... maybe a wolf or a vampire... Red has plenty of ideas in her books that we could use to make some nice naughty pumpkins ... so how about it... carve or decorate a Red Phoenix pumpkin and snap a pic and upload it to the pumpkin folder. You have until HALLOWEEN NIGHT to get them in. If you don't celebrate Halloween where you live and/or cant get a pumpkin you can draw one or use some other fruit or veggie."

*Club Red is a private group because of its adult themes. You will need to ask for permission to join.

Sensual Lovers Anonymous for Red Phoenix shared one of the hottest video shorts I have seen.  Let me set up the scene - A loving couple, a knee, white panties, a strong hand, and a moist little kitten.

Everything Brie, another fan based FB page has a poem, The Oral Caress by Robert W. Birch, that will delight your senses and give you confidence that sexy, devoted and very masculine men still exist. Fun discussions on that site, just make sure you have read the entire Brie series because there WILL be spoilers.

On my own FB page, we joke around a lot. Someone mentioned how normal words and conversations take on a different meaning after reading Brie. One such discussion mentioned that subbing in public schools seems a little more naughty these days. In honor of that, a hot, sexy pic was created.

I used to be a teacher, but trust me, subbing was never like this! ;)

*My Facebook page is open to the public. We may get a little raunchy, but nothing over PG - 13.

RedPhoenix69.com gives you two ways to join in the community. One is the forum, where you can discuss all the Red Phoenix books, ask questions of the author (that's me!) or post sexy pics. There is also 24/7 chat available (green bubble on the first page of the website). You can talk real-time to other fans and sometimes I jump on just for fun of it. A new favorite pastime of mine!

* RedPhoenix69.com is a mature website, meant for those 18 and older.

The Importance of a Platform as an Author

Authors and Readers Need Each Other

Without my readers, my books are just a bunch of words on a page. ~ Red Phoenix

When I first looked into getting published, all I heard was, "You need a platform." I thought, Well, that's nice. How do I get one? I did a lot of research on the web and discovered the best way to develop one as a newbie like me was through social sites like Twitter and Facebook. I will admit that the thought of spending hours on different sites seemed like a waste of writing time. I was not thrilled.

I started writing my short "quickies" Sensual Erotica and published them on Smashwords. The author's page asked for my Twitter account, Facebook account, blog, etc. What's a girl to do?

So, I dutifully (and a little resentfully) created them. Let me tell you, it is embarrassing to have conversations with thin air. I felt like an idiot writing thoughts and announcing books to an audience of zero. I determined in my head to promote myself, but it wasn't Red Phoenix who was writing the announcements. No. It was RP, my dedicated and talented PR person! ;)

My very first fan (who was not a friend at the time) was a kindhearted woman named Donna. She loved all my Sensual Erotica books and remains a true-blue fan still. It was the most exciting thing in the world to get her comments and have an actual conversation with a real live reader. It has grown since then. I now have conversations with readers and authors on Twitter, FB, Goodreads and Shelfari. It is a gas! My peeps inspire me, encourage me, and make me laugh.

Once upon a time, I thought creating a platform was purely to create readership. Now? I know that it is part of my lifeblood as an author. I would be less without a connection to my readers.
